  • Replaces the standard oil pump pick up with has limitations under extreme oil surge even with sump oil baffling
  • Momentary pressure loss under race conditions usually results in bearing damage
  • This 90mm diameter pancake type filter mounts directly onto the aftermarket alloy oil pumps with thread M19 X 1.5.
  • Baffling is required to reduce rearward oil surge on acceleration therefore BEN131 baffle plate required. (See full kit BEN130)

The standard oil pick up has limitations under extreme oil surge even with sump oil baffling. Momentary pressure loss under race conditions usually results in bearing damage.
The new 90mm diameter pancake type filter is located centrally in the deepest part of the sump within 4mm of the bottom. Baffling is required to reduce rearward oil surge on acceleration therefore BEN131 baffle plate required. (See kit BEN130) Designed to fit aftermarket alloy oil pumps with thread M19 X 1.5. For use on TR5-6, GT6, Vitesse, 2000 & 2500 engines. To be fitted alongside BEN118 or 217488. Only suitable to be used with an alloy sump such as BEN102 or BEN132.
