Timing chain tensioner conversion suitable for TR5-6 & 2500 Triumph engines. This conversion kit replaces the original spring steel tensioner which have been known to have reliability issues. This complete kit which includes the cover, gasket & seal requires no modification to the block of timing gear to install.

The uprated tensioner pad runs in a cylinder which is laser welded into position on the timing cover, laser welding creates no heat so the risk of distorting the sealing face of the cover is reduced. Within the tensioner cylinder is a preloaded cam which adjusts to retain the correct pressure on the chain when wear occurs. We recommend this kit on all high performance engines especially engines running at high RPM for long periods of time.

NOTE: This conversion is carried with your own timing cover, you will need to supply this to us in order for manufacturing to begin. Allow around 2-3 weeks from date of order before delivery of the product.
