Racetorations Copper Cylinder Head Gasket – TR2-4A & Morgan +4

Annealed copper head gasket. Suitable for road or competition use. TR2-4A & Morgan +4 83-92mm.
Using the original press tooling of Standard Triumph this gasket replicates the original factory steel head gasket with some modifications.
When compressed it gives a thickness of .020" (0.5mm). The annealed gasket has a shaped combustion chamber outline which allows for considerable tuning modifications. Not only can the standard head undercut (overhang) be removed but further opening of the vertical chamber wall can be undertaken.
Note the twin compression rings on the shaped circumference of the chamber. With care, one ring can be completely or partially removed to give more flow or accommodate a bore up to 92mm. Be aware of cheaper, poorer quality alternatives on the market, they may look the same but they are not.
There are compression sealing rings around all water and oil galleries and head studs. We recommend this head gasket to be fitted to all highly tuned fast road engines and especially race engines. Equivalent Part Numbers: 205481, 201083, 319266, 10579.
